Another brother!!

Mommy had the baby on Sunday 8/18/13! I have a new baby brother, Cooper :) He is so adorable! He was only a few hours old when I got to hold him for the first time. I can't believe how small he is. I love him so much already!

a runner just like mommy :)

Alivia is following in her moms shoes :)  She is such a good runner!!

She ran for Indy Racing Cheetas spring season - April & May 2013.  Her events were the 800m & Long Jump.  She took 1st place in all the meets in the 800m :)  Many times beating 3rd and 4th grade girls that she was running with, while also beating many of the boys when running together.  She did great at bettering her time at every meet.  She also was very good at long jump.  She didn't place at the first meet but took a lot in while watch the form of other jumpers.  She then placed at all the remaining meets and greatly improved her jump length.

Track was a great experience for her as an athlete and a great opportunity to make new friends!

She is super excited to hopefully participate in the the fall/winter season - October 2013 - February 2014!

a quick note

Alot of people have been asking how Alivia is doing so I thought I would post a little info. She is have a pretty hard time right now. She is still having several complications from the procedure and the complications it caused. The doctors are saying her body needs more time to heal from the trauma of everything. I am hoping they are right but it is very difficult to see your child in such pain all the time. She is in constant pain in her tummy/right upper quad and she has sever vomiting spells. We are at Riley about once a week with check ups and testings. As of this week the blood clot was still visible but showing improvement since the last time. She has missed A LOT of school since the procedure and that upsets her also. Praying for her to feel better.

Doing better :)

She seems to be doing better today!! We are getting some smiles out of her :)

She had a barium study done today to see if the clot was allowing liquids to pass through. Unfortunately, it showed that there was just a very small amount of liquid pass through. This was good and bad - Good: we can now take the NG tube out! and they are going to let us go home in a day or two if we are comfortable with it. Bad: we are going home with the PICC line in and will be managing her TPN bags and such from home :(

No good news yet

The last few days have been very stressful! I wish I could say she is feeling better, but she isn't yet. They finally got the PICC Line in her and started nutrition bags Sunday night. Monday much of the same, just a waiting game. We spoke to hematology and immunology about her slow blood clotting times and the yeast in her belly and other tests. There will be more testing over the next few days. Our Tuesday morning ultrasound showed she still had pancreatitus, her bile duct was still enlarger and now her gallbladder is enlarged also. Also, the blood clot has not changed in size at all, still blocking the whole intestine. We are managing the pain still with morphine and phenergan.
